A Vietnamese couple and their daughter died in a fire which broke out early Tuesday at their wedding shop in Ho Chi Minh City.
The fire in District 12 killed the shop's owner Trinh Ngoc Tin, 35, his wife, and their two-year-old daughter, said the municipal Fire Prevention and Fire Police. Firefighters with six fire trucks managed to put out the blaze in around half an hour.
A total of 2,460 fires and explosions broke out across Vietnam in the first nine months of this year, killing 90 people and injuring 216 others, while leaving losses of some 1,058 billion Vietnamese dong (47.4 million U.S. dollars), the country's Fire Prevention and Fight Department said.
