U.S delivers a patch of Weapons to Philippine

The US delivered on Saturday a patch of weapons and munitions to the Philippine Armed Forces to enhance their counter terrorism capabilities.
Washington has sent 1,040 2.75” rocket motors and 992 2.75″ rockets to the Philippine air forces to address their needs, said, a statement, US embassy in Philippine.
US is willing to provide the Philippine armed forces with 250 rocket-propelled grenade launchers and 1,000 grenade launchers, statement noted.
The munitions and weapons delivered comes within a framework of the Mutual Logistics Support Agreement (MLSA) aims at enhancing Philippine armed forces especially who engaged in counter terrorism operations in the southern Philippines, statement added.
Philippine Air Forces on Thursday received two reconnaissance aircrafts from US for assisting in confronting Daesh terrorist group.
Philippine Armed Forces have been engaged since two months in clashes with insurgents in Marawi city.
