UAE charity defrays group of pilgrims' expenses

Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Italy and Non-resident Ambassador to both the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Macedonia, has overseen the travel arrangements for a group of pilgrims from the three countries.
The UAE Embassy in Rome facilitated the travel of pilgrims to the Holy Land at the expense of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, according to UAE News Agency (WAM).
The pilgrims expressed their appreciation for this noble humanitarian gesture and thanked President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saying that he is following in the footsteps of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, WAM reported.
