A small plane Friday crashed into a car auction site in Blackbushe Airport in south England's Hampshire, killing all the four people on board, the airport confirmed.
A pilot and three passengers died after the crash, Britain's Sky News reported quoting anonymous source.
"Blackbushe Airport confirms that a Phenom 300 Jet with four persons on board crashed near the end of the runway around 3:09 p.m. while attempting to make a landing," a spokesman for Blackbushe Airport said in a statement.
"The scene was attended by Blackbushe Fire and Rescue within minutes, followed by Hampshire fire, police and ambulance units. Emergency services are currently controlling the scene," the statement added.
Hampshire Police said road closures were in place and ambulance and fire crews were also in attendance.
"We're dealing with an air emergency incident at Blackbushe Airport. Please avoid the area if you can," Hampshire Police tweeted.
The Hazardous Area Response Team of South East Coast Ambulance Service tweeted earlier that initial reports suggested there might be four casualties, but the number has not been officially confirmed by British authorities.
Aerial footage and photos posted on social media show that the plane crashed into and damaged multiple cars on the ground before bursting into flames.
The Farnborough-based Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) confirmed it has sent a team to investigate the aircraft accident.
