At least five children and two people drowned when a boat carrying illegal immigrants sank near Sizmi Turkish resort, ABC News reported on Friday.
The boat sank off the Turkish resort late on Thursday evening, as nine migrants, including four Iraqis, three Somalis and two Syrians were rescued, while one person was still missing.
Police are still looking for the human smuggler who left the boat when it began to sink.
