Mohammad Abdullah Al Khamiri Al Tuniji, one of the UAE heroes, died in Ras Al Khaima at the age of 75 on Wednesday.
He was one of six officers defending Greater Tunb during attack by Iranian forces on November 29, 1971.
Mohammad Abdullah was a police officer in the same team of UAE’s first martyr, Salem Suhail Bin Khamis Al Dahmani.
He fell ill two months ago and was admitted to a hospital in Abu Dhabi where he died on Wednesday morning.
Hundreds of people from Ras Al Khaimah and other emirates attended the funeral. Funeral prayer was held at Shaikh Rashid Bin Saeed mosque after Asr prayer. The body was buried in Al Rams cemetery.

Mohammad Abdullah served in the military for 22 years and was a model for loyalty and love to his country, according to his relatives.
Jassim, son of the deceased, said his father always reminded him and his brothers that the occupied islands belong to the UAE and we have to work hard and fight to bring it back to UAE.
Jassim said that his father used to talk to them about their bravery at the time of Iran attack and how they fight for the island.
“It's our home, it's our country, it’s our land. How can we give it to them?” he used to say, Jassim said.
Mohammad Abdullah was injured in his right leg as the Iranian forces continued shooting until all the six soldiers were injured. They were then taken to Iran. The UAE heroes were later returned through Red Crescent after the intervention of late Shaikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The deceased had been recognised in 2014 by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during the 43 UAE National Day celebrations.
The deceased had 14 children, 8 sons and 6 daughters.
One of his sons died in traffic accident two years ago and other son was injured in Yemen.
