The terrorist attack on Istanbul confirms the need for a joint fight against terrorism, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"President Putin has expressed condolences to the Turkish people over the awful terrorist attack," Peskov said. The Kremlin "considers that this is a terrorist attack on a peaceful Istanbul," he added according to Tass News Agency.
"Such events once again stress the need for consolidated efforts in the fight against our common threat, the fight against terrorism," he said.
