Militants of the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) have killed more than 1,800 people since declaring so-called Caliphate in Syria last June 28, a Syrian monitoring group said Sunday.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the terrorist group has killed 1,878 people during six months in the governorates of Deir Azzour, Raqqah, Hasakah, Aleppo, Homs and Hama .
ISIL also executed 81 people from the Islamist brigades and Al-Nusra Front following their arrest, added SOHR.
ISIL, it said, also killed around 120 people of its own fighters because they attempted to return to their countries.
ISIL executed 502 Syrian regime forces and proxy militants, said SOHR.
