Interior Ministry hailed for busting terrorist cell
Manama - Arab Today

A tribute was paid to the Ministry of Interior for its strenuous efforts to protect Bahrain’s security and stability.
In statement today, Al-Saf Islamic Society known as “Saf” hailed the success of the security agencies in busting an Iran-supported cell which was planning to terrorise innocent people and destabilize the country.
It condemned in the strongest terms the attack perpetrated by the terrorist group which targeted a security patrol on King Hamad Highway, leading to Al-Durra resort, which left several on-duty policemen wounded.
“These groups are adamant on carrying out the Tehran-backed terrorist plot to destabilize the country and fuel a heinous sectarian strife, thus continuing the heinous scenario they started in February 2011”, the statement said.
The association backed all deterrent measures against terrorist groups, urging an iron-fist against anyone who attempts to target the security forces, subvert security and destablise the country, cautioning against any laxity.
“The people of Bahrain will never be intimated by such hostile conspiracies and will stand united”, it said, paying tribute to Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa and the security agencies for arresting the agents who were plotting to subvert Bahrain’s security and stability.
Al-Saf Islamic Society called on the authorities to put the terrorists on trial quickly and publish their names in the media.
