Indian troops on Monday resorted to unprovoked firing along the working boundary in the eastern Sialkot city of Pakistan killing four people and wounding five others, the military said in a statement.
The Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) personnel started the firing when the country was celebrating first day of religious festival, Eid Al-Adha, killing four people including two children and a woman.
Pakistan Rangers have effectively responded to firing by BSF but no loss of life has been confirmed yet.

On Sunday, the Indian troops violated the ceasefire across the LoC between the two neighboring countries and resorted to unprovoked firing in Jandroot Sector near Kotli in Pakistan side of Kashmir.
