
A huge fire on Friday killed one person in a two-story building in the center of the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok, local authorities said.
The fire burned an area of 400 square meters and the body of a woman was found in a room in the building, the local department of Emergency Management said in a statement.
According to the department, 48 firefighters, eight fire engines and four special vehicles were involved in the firefighting efforts.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
