English county is home to terror group with a ‘suicide bomber in waiting’

 A new terrorist movement has hit Britain’s shores with members claiming they are willing to make the “ultimate sacrifice.” The Cornish Republican Army (CRA) has already claimed responsibility for firebombing celebrity chef Rick Stein’s seaside restaurant.
In admitting to the attack on the restaurant members of the CRA said they had launched a renewed campaign to prevent the “ethnic cleansing of the people of Kernow.”
The group is not new, it was formed in the early 2000s and was previously known as the Cornish National Liberation Army (CNLA), but had been inactive for more than a decade and was thought to have been disbanded the MailOnline reported.
There has long been a movement of people in Cornwall, the most southwestern county in England that believed the area’s Celtic identity made them different from other British nationals and that they should be given their own nationality.
Some have even gone as far as to claim Cornwall should be independent of British rule. Cornwall has been a part of England for many hundreds of years.
The CRA had previously carried some attacks, targeting property owned by people or businesses from out of the county. Attacks have seen graffiti daubed on buildings and property set on fire.
But in a chilling online statement announcing the name change, the group also made a series of threats, including a claim that the movement had a female member who was prepared to carry out a suicide attack for the cause.
“Our organization has grown and we now have one member who is prepared to pay the ultimate price in the battle for Kernow,” the statement read, using the Cornish word for Cornwall.
“She is prepared to sacrifice herself although we shall not ask for this lightly — only as a last measure.”
The movement’s most recent victim, Rick Stein, is a well-established celebrity chef who has appeared in various television series’. He has had restaurants based in Cornwall for many years. But critics of the star claim his elite restaurants are pushing up property prices in the area, making it difficult for locals to by homes, or business properties.
The fire attack, which took place early on Monday, June 12, was started in a structure by one of his restaurants, where the dustbins are stored, but also houses three gas cylinders.
Investigations are underway into the cause of the fire and police say they have not ruled out arson.
The CRA terror group said it carried out the attack, and also claimed responsibility two other recent fire attacks in the nearby towns of Truro and Penryn.
The group claims it has carried out a practice attack run and also says it currently has 30 members who are operating in Active Service Units (ASU) to achieve Cornish independence.
The group added that activities that have targeted Stein and also Jamie Oliver, who also has a restaurant in Cornwall, have since ceased.
But it said it was to resume attacks on second homes owned by people who do not live in the area.
“We have also issued warnings to owners of holiday businesses flying the blood cross flag (England’s St. George’s Cross)…
Our activities against second and expensive English owned homes will continue.”
The statement added: “The English have never allowed freedom to any peoples without a fight and although we understand those who believe that freedom can be won through democracy or political means, we do not accept this.
“What has really been won this past 50 years? — Nothing other than an ethnic cleansing of the people of Kernow.”
The group likened its campaign of terror to the Irish Republican Army (IRA) who have since become members of the government in Northern Ireland.
“Whilst we greatly admire and respect the efforts of Cornish Nationals who seek change through moderate means, we note that previous members of the IRA are now in power in the North of Ireland showing that there is a place for military action.
Therefore we may use direct means to underline the efforts of moderate Cornish Nationals.”
