
A car bomb attack targeting government lodgings in southeastern Turkey has killed a 3-year-old child and wounded 15 people, Gungor Azim Tuna, Governor of Sanliurfa province, was quoted by the state Anadolu Agency as saying on Friday.
The bomb exploded near the homes of judges and prosecutors in the town of Viransehir, in Sanliurfa province.
The governor said the attack was carried out with an explosives-laden vehicle, killing the child and wounding 15 others.
Anadolu Agency said medics and police were dispatched to the area, which was immediately sealed off.
