
A car bomb exploded outside a busy restaurant in the Somali capital of Mogadishu on Friday noon with no casualties or injuries reported so far.
A car packed with explosives was detonated between around the heavily secured presidential palace in the capital. The restaurant is frequented by government officials, spokesman for Mogadishu mayor office said.
No group immediately claimed responsibility of the attack but extremist group Al Shabab usually carries out attacks in the country where a new cabinet was formed last week.
