Bus crash kills 7 children in southern Bangladesh

At least seven children were killed on Saturday after a bus fell into a pond next to a road in southern Bangladesh, police said according to dpa.Three children died on the scene of the accident, while four otherssuccumbed to their injuries at a local hospital in Jessore district,some 150 kilometers southwest of Dhaka, police officer Motiur Rahmansaid.The victims were aged between six and 11.Local residents were able to rescue about 40 children from the site,with the minors subsequently receiving treatment in hospital.
