Afghan forces kill 43 militants in military operations

The Ministry of Interior said that Afghan security forces have killed 43 insurgents in newest actions across the country, Khaama press reported Sunday.
A statement issued by the ministry said that that the operations were conducted in Nooristan, Kundoz, Faryab, Helmand, Oruzgan and Ghazni provinces in past 24 hours.
According to the statement, 43 militants were killed and 25 others wounded in these operations.
Security forces also confiscated heavy and light weapons but the Interior Ministry’s statement did not contain a specific number of them.
