
Afghan forces crackdown against Taliban have left 32 militants dead in the northern provinces of Baghlan and Kunduz over the past 24 hours, a security official said Saturday.
An army spokesman in the northern region, Nasratullah Jamshidi told Xinhua that 12 insurgents have been killed and 13 others injured in Dahna-e-Ghori district, baghlan province over the past 24 hours.
According to the official, 20 more militants have lost their lives and 15 others wounded in Imam Sahib district of the neighboring Kunduz province over the period.
The official, nonetheless didn't mention the possible casualties of government forces in the said provinces over the past two days.
Taliban militants who have been fighting the government in several provinces are yet to make comment.
