9 killed in factory fire in northern India

Nine people were killed in a major fire in a factory of electronics company Onida in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, Press Trust of India reported on Thursday. The fire, which broke out on Wednesday evening, continued to rage on Thursday night, said the report. Eight fire engines were battling the flames.
