The death toll from a fire in north-eastern China rose to five after the bodies of two missing firefighters were found, state media reported Saturday.
The two men had been buried under the rubble of a ceramics market in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province. Five firefighters died and 14 were injured when a third-floor market collapsed in the 11-storey building Friday night, dpa reported.
Three of the injured firefighters were in critical condition. Of the dead, the youngest was 18 years old and the oldest 22. The firefighters were trying to put out the third-floor fire above them when the warehouse collapsed.
