
Seven people at least have been injured as a result of falling down after running away when a 4.8 Richter earthquake jolted the city of Zarand, Kerman Province, South East of Iran, Director-General of Kerman Crisis Management Office told IRNA on Friday.
An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale rocked Zarand city at 18:40 local time and it was followed by three aftershocks. Mohsen Salehi Kermani said that the injured people have been transferred to hospital. He said that some buildings also sustained minor damages.
