
At least four Taliban militants were killed following an internal clash among the Taliban militants in western Ghor province of Afghanistan.
According to local government officials, the incident took place late Saturday in Paswand district.
Provincial governor spokesman Abdul Hai Khatibi said that two senior Taliban leaders are among those killed during the clash, according to the Afghan (Khaama Press).
He said the two key Taliban leaders were involved in major bombings in western Ghor province.
According to Khatibi, at least three Taliban militants were also injured during the clash.
The Taliban militants group has not commented regarding the report so far.
Ghor is among the relatively volatile provinces in western Afghanistan where Taliban militants are active in a number of its districts.
However, local officials are saying that the Taliban militants are more active in Paswand district.
