Four Russian soldiers and six militants were killed in two clashes in Russia’s North Caucasus republic of Dagestan on Friday.
An officer of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) and three Interior Ministry officers were killed, and five special forces officers were wounded during the operation in southern Dagestan, Russian news agency (Itar-tass) reported.
A police spokeswoman in Dagestan declined to comment, citing restrictions during what she said was an ongoing anti-terror operation.
