
Three soldiers were killed after a Turkish Coast Guard boat capsized in the Bosphorus off Istanbul's Fatih district on Wednesday, Anadolu Agency reported.
Earlier, the lifeless body of one crewmember, Sinan Goktas, was recovered by search-and-rescue teams, according to coastal safety sources.
Four injured are currently undergoing treatment, the sources added.
Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin said that the boat, belonging to the regional coast guard command, crashed into a cargo carrier off Sarayburnu’s shores.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the deadly collision.
