
Two people died, five were injured and nine others are still buried in rubbles after a building collapsed in central China's Henan Province, confirmed local sources on Monday.
The seven-story building, under construction on the outskirts of Henan's capital Zhengzhou, collapsed at 5:40 p.m..
Sixteen workers were buried. Rescuers had pulled out seven as of 10:30 p.m., including two dead.
Police have detained the crane driver, and are hunting for the head of the construction team, who fled after the accident.
Cause of the accident is being investigated.
