
Two people were killed Sunday when two trucks collided on a road in Shidiyeh in the southern Maan Governorate, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).
It said CDD rescue teams and medics rushed to the scene, administered first aid to the two men and transferred them to the Maan Government Hospital, where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the CDD said in its daily report that 86 people were injured in 183 accidents recorded across the Kingdom in the past 24 hours. It said its medical crews had also handled 459 emergencies.
