
Ten students were killed in a road accident in the Philippines on Monday after the tourist bus they were riding in hit an electric post, local media reported.
The bus was travelling in the municipality of Tanay in the province of Rizal to the east of capital city Manila when the driver lost control, and hit an electric post.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Engineer Carlos Inofre, chief of Tanay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management said the bus passengers were students of Bestlink College Novaliches and were en route to a camping activity in a resort in Tanay.
No other details were provided.
