1 militant killed in car crash on Australian island

One person was killed and eight injured when a car carrying tourists overturned on an island off eastern Australia on Friday, media reports said, quoting police.
According to AP, two of the injured were German women in their 20s, one of whom had been driving, The Courier Mail said.
They were reported to be in stable condition in the Hervey Bay Hospital in Urraween on the mainland.
The rest of the injured occupants of the car were taken to a separate hospital, the Courier Mail said.
