At least one passenger was killed and several injured after a bomb hit a passenger train in Pakistan's Balochistan province on Tuesday.
The Quetta-bound Jaffar Express was attacked by unidentified men following a bomb blast, Dawn online quoted a Levies forces source as saying.
Three bogies of the train derailed due to the attack. The victims were shifted to a hospital in Quetta, the source said.
Rescue and security teams reached the site and train services were temporarily suspended from Balochistan.
Law enforcement personnel launched a search operation in the area.
Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri condemned the blast and directed the concerned officials to take tough action against those involved in the attack.
