
One person was killed and three others injured in a shooting incident Wednesday night during a concert by US rapper T.I. at Irving Plaza in New York City, police said.
The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. (0215 GMT Thursday) at the music venue near Union Square, where at least 1,000 people were reportedly attending the event.
Local police said a man was shot in the chest and another man shot in the stomach. One of the two men has died, but the police have not yet specified which one. Another two people were shot as well but sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Video posted by twitter handle @markygeezy showed the immediate chaotic aftermath of the incident, where people at the venue were screaming and tried to evacuate in panic.
It was reported that the rapper had not yet taken the stage when the incident happened. The number of shooters involved and a motive are not yet known, according to local police.
