Goalkeeper of Egypt's Zamalek football team Ahmed Al Shenawy
Cairo - Khalid Al Etribi
Goalkeeper of Egypt's Zamalek football team Ahmed Al Shenawy revealed that he did not participate in his team's match against Smouha on Saturday because he returned to the training just two days ago. He said that he was not prepared well for participating in the match.   He added, in a statement to "Arabs Today", that he expects to participate with the team during the coming match against Sharkia in the framework of the Egyptian Premier League. He denied what was published over his escape from the previous match. He blamed the consecutive injuries he faced for his absence during the recent period.   He added that the injuries he faced were serious whether during his participation with the national team or with Zamalek. He added that he was injured with the national team twice, while only one time with Zamalek. He added that it was a big mistake to return to the matches before full treatment. He added that he will not return to the matches if he is not fully qualified for participation.
