Moroccan footballer Essam Al Raqi of Raja Casablanca expressed his frustration over his team’s defeat during the derby match against Wydad held on Sunday in the framework of the Moroccan league.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, this result allowed Wydad to keep its leading position in the league’s table, saying that they still have the opportunity to compete for winning the league during the coming period. He praised the performance of Wydad during the derby, saying that they managed to achieve their objective
He stressed that the players of his team will do their best during the coming period to meet the expectations of their fans and to win all the coming matches to keep their opportunity of competition. He added that they give priority to resume positive results, saying that they are keen to participate in the African tournament during the coming season.
