Egyptian footballer Amr Gamal of Ahly football team expressed his pleasure for joining Egypt’s national team in the framework of the current preparations for the coming match against Tunisia, although he does not participate regularly with his team in the Egyptian Premier League.
He said, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he strongly appreciates the confidence of the Argentinian coach, saying that he will exert his efforts to meet his expectations during the coming period. He added that the coach decision to include him in the national team despite lack of his participation reflects his confidence.
He expressed his confidence that Egypt’s national team is able to win the match against Tunisia in the qualifying round for the coming African Cup of Nations scheduled to be held in Cameroon in 2019. He also praised his team’s winning of the local league appreciating the role of fans who were keen to support the players.
