 Yazidi forces began an attack on the outskirts of Sinjar to expel elements of the Islamic State organization (IS), Peshmerga source says.
The source told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The Yazidi security forces began its attack after mobilizing its troops on the outskirts of Sinjar and its mountains from two directions, first from Kairouan, and the second from Sinjar Mount."
The source added that those forces began to progress after clashes that broke out this morning, where light and heavy weapons were used, adding that there are casualties in the ranks of the organization, which is uncounted yet.
