The US-led coalition against ISIL struck 11 targets in Syria and Iraq on Thursday, the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said in a statement.
Fighter and bomber aircraft carried out six airstrikes in Syria, and five airstrikes in Iraq, where attack jets were also used.
In Syria, all six strikes were near Kobani, where they "destroyed seven ISIL fighting positions and an ISIL building and also struck an ISIL tactical unit," the statement said.
In Iraq, two airstrikes near Tal Afar "destroyed an ISIL excavator and an ISIL vehicle," while another two near Mosul "struck two ISIL vehicles and an ISIL tactical unit," the statement said. The final airstrike hit an ISIL tactical unit near Ramadi.
The US Department of Defense has not released any casualty figures as a result of Operation Inherent Resolve.
