The United States embassy in Israel issued a warning to all American citizens currently in the country Saturday, advising against travel to the occupied Golan Heights or Upper Galilee, the Jerusalem Post reported.

The warning comes in the wake of recent rocket attacks originating out of Syria that struck open areas of the North earlier in the week.

Four rockets were fired from Syria into northern Israel on Thursday, the Israeli occupation army confirmed. Two of the projectiles landed in the Upper Galilee and two landed in the Golan Heights.
