A number of youth were injured in clashes with Israeli troops at the western entrance to Selwad town in eastern Ramallah.

Clashes are still ongoing between a group of youth in Selwad and the Israeli troops, Dr Safaa Abu Bakr of the Palestine Medical Complex told MENA correspondent in Ramallah Wednesday.

Ambulances are trying to reach the scene of the clashes to treat Palestinians injured by tear gas bombs and rubber bullets of the Israeli troops, Dr Abu Bakr added.

The Israeli authorities are closing all roads leading to the scene, she noted.
