Russia to expand combat patrols to new regions

Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu Monday said Russia will expand combat patrols by bomber planes to new regions in co-operations with its allies.
"It is important to note that such flights are regular, and we will not abandon this practice," a Tass news agency report said today quoting the minister.
In February, strategic bombers Tu-95MS conducted flights over the Barents and Norwegian Seas, as well as over the north-eastern part of the Atlantic, the minister said.
