Russia accuses US of interferring in Ukrainian affairs

Russia accused the US Monday of interferring in the internal affairs of Ukraine and attempting to impose "political" agenda on the country.The US "is practically interferring in the Ukrainian affairs and imposes specific options," Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexandr Lukacevic said in a statement.He said Washington was pressing Kiev to stop legal pursuits against all those involved in violent actions.Ukrainian authorities have recently announced it would release all people involved in recent violence in answer to western demands.Opposition parties have been protesting in Kiev after the government failed to sign a partnership agreement with the European Union (EU).
