The Rafah terminal on the Egyptian borders with the Gaza Strip was exceptionally reopened on Saturday to allow a dead body into the enclave.
An official at the terminal said the body of a Palestinian, 48, who was pronounced dead due to heart failure while in a hospital in Cairo.
The land crossing has been closed since the terrorist attack against Egyptian servicemen in Karam Al Qwadees on October 24, 2014.
