Israeli forces lifted on Wednesday a ban on the entry of Palestinian workers into some settlements in the occupied West Bank, ending a ban imposed a day earlier after two stabbing operations in Otniel and Tuqu.
The entry permission, which came after examining security situation in the area, is valid in all settlements in Menashe and Ephraim regions as well as three other settlements in the central region of Benjamin, Radio Israel reported.
The ban is still imposed on Gush Etzion and Hebron regions, the radio added.
According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, nearly 20,000 Palestinians work in Israeli settlements in occupied West bank.
