A Palestinian was shot dead on Friday as he tried to drive his car into a military checkpoint in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli army said.
"A Palestinian attempted to ram his vehicle into security forces near Hebron" in the southern West Bank, an army statement said.
It said that forces present "shot the attacker, resulting in his death", adding that no Israelis were injured in the attack.
No details of the age or identity of the Palestinian were given.
The incident came a day after a similar attack in the northern West Bank, in which four soldiers were injured, one severely.
Since October 1, almost daily attacks and clashes between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers have killed 114 on the Palestinian side, 17 Israelis, an American and an Eritrean.
More than half of the Palestinians killed have been alleged attackers.
