A Palestinian man was shot dead in the West Bank city of Khalil (Hebron) after he allegedly stabbed an Israeli soldier near the Ibrahimi Mosque Monday.
In statements to MENA, Palestinian medical sources identified the Palestinian as 21-year-old Ihab Fathi Miswadi.
They said Israeli forces prevented Palestinian emergency services from reaching him after he was shot.
No medical care was provided to the Palestinian man till he died, sources added.
Human rights groups have repeatedly condemned Israeli forces for excessive use of force against Palestinians who did not pose an imminent threat.
At least 112 Palestinians have been killed by Israelis since the beginning of October.
While Israel alleges many of those were attempting to attack Israelis when they were shot, Palestinians and rights groups have disputed Israel's version of events in several cases.
