A Palestinian child was injured in eastern Qalqilia on Saturday by an Israeli settler's fire.
Eyewitnesses said the six-year-old boy sustained critical injuries in the abdomen.
Youssef al Tabib was walking on the main road when the settler opened fire on him.
The child was rushed to hospital, while the settler escaped.
Fatah secretary in Qalqilia Mahmoud Walwil said the movement will not allow Israeli settlers to continue assaulting Palestinian people.
Walwil recalled the July arson attack that killed three members of a Palestinian family, including an 18-year-month-old baby.
He said the Palestinian popular committee guards will firmly confront the Israeli settlers' attacks.
