Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah called on the United States to put pressure on Israel to halt its violations against the Palestinian people.

Hamdallah also urged Washington to force Israel to end its control on Area C which comprises 64 percent of the West Bank.

He was speaking during a meeting with Simon Henshaw, US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.

The Palestinian premier praised a support of $100 million provided by the US to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
