OIC calls for urgent humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan

OIC Secretary-General Iyad bin Amin Madani called on Member States and intergovernmental organizations to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan to face impacts of avalanches.
In a statement carried out today, Madani expresses OIC's condolences and sympathy to the people and government of Afghanistan in the wake of powerful blizzards that causing extensive damage to Panjshir province after the avalanche, killing nearly 300 people in addition to the loss of property.
