MWL condemns Israeli aggression on Aqsa Mosque

The Muslim World League has strongly denounced the aggression of the Israeli occupation forces on Al Aqsa Mosque compound and preventing worshipers from entering it.

In a statement released by the Saudi News Agency late Tuesday, MWL Secretary General Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al Turki termed such aggression as part of the Israeli criminal policies exercised against the Palestinian people and defy the feelings of the Muslims.

He said such "coward act" which is part of the Israeli attempts to Judaize the holy city and Al Aqsa Mosque would have serious repercussions.

Turki also called on the international community to swiftly intervene to halt such criminal measures, urging the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League and the international humanitarian organizations to take a firm stance against such recurrent breach of the Muslims holy sites.
