
A magnetic bomb attached to a civilian vehicle exploded in the Market area of Makroryan Se in Kabul but did not cause casualties, security officials said.
Najib Danish, Deputy Spokesman for Kabul Police confirmed the incident. He said "The bomb was attached to a civilian vehicle but the explosion did not have casualties." The security situation has been comparatively better in the past one month in Kabul, according to the Afghan news agency (Khaama Press).
The last explosion reported was on January 13 in the 7th Police District leaving one person killed and four others wounded.
Taliban insurgents had claimed responsibility for the explosion on January 13 but there is no immediate claim of responsibility for this morning's explosion.
