Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe
Tokyo - QNA

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Tuesday he will consider creating a permanent law to dispatch Japan's armed troops overseas, after Tokyo reinterpreted the pacifist Constitution to expand their role, according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.
"We'd like to consider in detail what form it should take, a permanent or special law. We need to have thorough consultations and coordinate with the ruling coalition," Abe told the upper house Budget Committee.
His remarks could cause a stir even within the ruling parties, as the New Komeito, the junior coalition partner of Abe's Liberal Democratic Party, remains cautious about expanding the role of the Self-Defense Forces overseas.
