Israeli soldiers shoot, arrest Palestinian youth

A Palestinian youth was shot in the leg and arrested by the Israeli soldiers after attempting to overpass the border security fence northeast Gaza Strip.
Israeli Radio reported Friday that the young man was being interrogated by Israeli security services in a nearby military camp, adding that there was another Palestinian at the scene who was able to return to Gaza safely.
Last week the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and the National Security Service in Gaza announced new punitive measures against any Palestinian attempting to infiltrate into the green line or the nearby Israeli settlements.
