The Israeli police arrested ten Palestinians, including a woman, after clashes erupted when some settlers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque's courtyard, a lawyer of the Palestinian Prisoners Club said Wednesday.
Mufid el-Hajj said all arrestees were held at an Israeli police station in Al-Quds.
Dozens of Palestinian worshipers suffocated by tear gas inhalation whereas others were injured with rubber-coated bullets after Israeli police forces raided al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, according to WAFA.
Police forced hundreds of worshipers into the southern ceiled building of the mosque, in order to allow Jewish fanatics into the mosque compound to perform rituals, it added.
